Since 2008 I've been working at TNO, first as a research scientist and now as a Senior Consultant within the Naval & Offshore Structures research group and our core Ship Vulnerability team. I have been involved in many areas of structural dynamics from both the theoretical/modelling and experimental/measurement sides. I have particular expertise in ship survivability: underwater explosions and the effect on Naval platforms. As part of this work, I manage the shock projects undertaken on a weekly basis in the Structural Dynamics lab of TNO. For this work, I am the point of contact for world-wide industry, shipyards and Navy end-users.
