Client: TECNIMONT / ADCO.7/2015 – 5/2015 Senior Inspector for the projects “1052-construction of main 30’’ HPNG pipeline from Ashdod to Soreq” and “1004 construction of main 18’’ HPNG pipeline from Holot to Shafdan” at Israel. 2/2015 – 1/2015 Senior Inspector for the projects “1052-construction of main 30’’ HPNG pipeline from Ashdod to Soreq” and “1008-1065 construction of main 36’’ HPNG pipeline from Nesher to Nitzaney” at Israel. The above projects included the construction of 30’’, 36’’ & 18’’ pipelines (about 90Km in total length), the installation and testing of two (2) new PRMS stations and the welding-inspection of the Hot Tap fittings at Soreq station. The main Contractors for these projects were SICIM SpA (Italy) and CHEMO-AHARON Ltd (Israel). Applicable codes of these projects were the European Norms (EN3650, EN12732, EN1435, EN12062 etc.). Main duties: • Certification & Inspection of the quality of the Project & of the tests/examinations performed according to the Inspection & Test Plan of the Project. Qualification of welding processes and Examination-Qualification of the welders. • Endorsement of the relevant nondestructive test reports (radiography, liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, ultrasonic tests), included the evaluation and endorsement of the radiographic films, ultrasonic examination, magnetic particle examination and liquid penetrant examination. • Inspection of pipeline Lowering-In, Pressure tests (tightness & Strength tests) of pipeline sections and PRMS and Valve stations.Project Engineer for Storage Tanks and Piping for the Project ‘’Storage Facilities at Port of Salalah, Oman’’ ($75M fuel bunkering project) by the Company ‘’Mina Petroleum Group’’. The project includes the construction of nine (9) storage tanks with two main pump stations & filtration units, four (4) Truck Loading/Offloading station, four (4) Marine Loading arms, more than 15km of 18’’ fuel pipelines, Fire Fighting system, slop-drainage system etc. Main duties: • Monitoring and commentary of the detailed design regarding operation and HSE • Integration of basic design and detailed engineering of the project • FEED engineering for tendering, Value engineering for cost reduction • Issuance of the Material Specifications for the Main Equipment of the project (Marine loading arms, Truck loading/offloading arms, Metering skids, etc). Welding Inspector for the production of 20’’ diameter & about 18m length pipes. Total quantity produced was about 140 Km of 8,74mm thickness and about 6 Km of 12,7mm thk. The pipes were produced at Salzgitter Mannesmann LinePipe premises at Hamm, Germany. The customer was Plains All American Pipeline, L.P. / USA. The inspection company was ITI International and Inspection Certificate 3.2 acc. EN 10204: 2004 – 10 was issued. Main duties: • Inspection of the welding parameters for the total production. • Inspection of the mechanical tests (marking of the specimens, spot witness of the tests & evaluation of the results).Senior Inspector for the project “Rerouting of main High Pressure Natural Gas pipeline section at Platamonas area”. The project included the construction of 30’’ pipeline (about 900m length), the installation and welding of a 30’’ insulation joint and the welding-inspection of the Hot Tap fittings & the By-Pass lines (16’’) for the execution of the final Hot-Tap works in order to perform the Tie-In connections of the New Pipeline to the old one.Project Engineer for the ‘’Maintenance of the storage tanks at Aspropyrgos and Megara industrial complex, Greece” with a budget of about 2m€/year and other new constructions with a totally budget of ½ m€/year. • Coordination, organization, monitoring and management of the projects and the corresponding contracts from the phase of integration of basic design and detailed engineering, until the full performance and completion (startup). • Monitoring and commentary of the detailed design in collaboration with the relevant departments, Management of the contract with the company of detailed design, auctioning project, tender evaluation, recommendation for approval of award and award of construction contracting, preparation of the contract, provision of comments, promotion for signatures and contract management. • Full technical and financial monitoring of the project. Coordination, supervision of the groups of contractors and the relevant departments of the company’s industrial facilities throughout the duration of the project. • Perform all required actions in the SAP software. • Market research, offers evaluation, budget management and cost down initiatives for the material and services required for the projects. • Materials management and quality control through the main warehouse. • Strict compliance with the projects’ time schedules.QA/QC Mechanical Engineer Specialist at the Main Quality Control department for the submarines’ class 214 new building project and for the submarines’ class 209 modernization / repair project. Main duties: • Coordinator of all the Inspectors of the mechanical workshops (ship fitting-outfitting workshop, piping workshop, machine workshop, painting & insulation workshop, fitters, etc) regarding the Inspections & the Quality Control activities including the approval of the Work Instructions and the issuance of the Quality Instructions for the relevant workshops, the approval-audits of the appropriate subcontractors, instruments, materials etc., control & follow-up of the Factory Acceptance Tests, Harbor Acceptance Tests, etc. • Expertise in inspection of castings, forgings and other materials & in welding of various materials for pressure vessels, structures, piping work • Specialist & authorized engineer (certified by the Layher company) for the calculations & the orders of the total scaffolding materials needed for the total of these projects. • 04/2003 - 05/2002. Interconnection of the New Crude Oil Tanks at HELLENIC PETROLEUM Thessaloniki Industrial Complex. • 12/2001 - 9/2001. Inspection, repair, alteration & reconstruction activities (repair/replacement of foundation, erection of new bottom, replacement of shell plates & roof plates, replacement of internal floating roof seal & roof columns) for the Tank TK-9 (25.000 m3) of Dendropotamos terminal of EKO-ELDA Tank Farm at Kalohori of Thessaloniki. • 8/2001 – 5/2001. Construction of the Polypropylene Unit for HELLENIC PETROLEUM Thessaloniki Industrial Complex. Main duties included but not limited to supervision of hot & cold insulation activities and painting activities of process piping & utility lines. • 2/2002 – 7/2000.
