Kreag Cotter’s Expertise I began my career in Honeoye NY making parts for cement mixers at the now defunct Stone Construction Equipment. I had the opportunity to operate some very early Numerical Controlled equipment and automated machines. The fascination with the NCs led me to move to Kodak during a large ramp toward vertical manufacturing integration in Gates NY at the Elmgrove Plant. Elmgrove was a veritable Disneyland of manufacturing. 24,000 people in 5 million square feet of high tech manufacturing. Kodak allowed me to continually grow and paid for years of night school to boot. I owe Kodak much and am only sad that future generations of Rochesterians will not have this venerable giant as an employment option. At the end of the Kodak era, I had a unique opportunity to move to Hover Davis, the Feeder Company. I was hired by someone who was my peer many years before when I was in manufacturing….. I was remembered and recommended to that person by someone who I worked with recently in Kodak. The moral of that story is to be kind and honest with everyone you meet, you never know when that will come back to you. Today, I get excited every day to come in and work with so many really smart people in a quality organization. I am truly a blessed man.
