I have over four years of experience in this field, and I hold a master's degree in social work and a license from the State of Maryland. My mission is to help Black, Indigenous, and POC folx, especially women, feel and be grounded and well within themselves, and to water the seeds they already possess to shine brighter. I also strive to see the radical systemic change that is desperately needed for mental health equity and justice. In addition to holding space for others, I have been branching into public speaking, workshops, and advocacy, to provide more value to those unable to access the therapeutic space. This year I have facilitated presentations for University of Maryland and the National Association for Black Social Workers around policy advocacy and Social Work licensure, held workshops about improving self-love practices for women, and now I've launched my own solo Clinical and Wellness practice, Village of Sound Mind.
