My openness to opportunities of all shapes and sizes offered me the chances to succeed in these dissimilar industries. The late anthropologist Joseph Campbell coined the phrase "Waste Land" to describe the belief that members of society are limited only to follow in the footsteps of those who came before. That's not where I want to live; innovation potential fires me up, and I am constantly on the lookout for challenges in both my personal and professional life.
