Lisa Robinson’s Expertise I'm a clinical psychologist who specializes in the treatment of trauma-related conditions. I own a private practice, and I have worked at the Houston VA since 2009. I'm certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), which are all evidence-based trauma-focused therapies. I love working with Military, Veteran, and First-Responders, and I'm passionate about expanding my knowledge in the effects and treatment of psychological trauma as well as my skills in the use of EMDR to target a range of conditions. In addition to treating trauma-related disorders, I use EMDR and cognitive-behavioral interventions to treat symptoms of anxiety, depression, and complicated grief. Currently, I'm seeking opportunities that will allow me to continue treating the effects of trauma and other adverse life events and to expand my leadership skills.
