Louise Jensen’s Expertise In this EU project, I was selected among 300 applicants together with other 35 designers, developers and urban thinkers in order to create Urban IxD projects through a critical design methodology. The new concept Urban Interaction Design (UrbanIxD) compresses the new existing relationships in the hybrid city, where the physical environment is every day more mixed with the digital world.Inspired by design fiction and critical design my project, "Nokuna", analyzes possibilities and implications of big data used in shared economy in society. At Catalyst Teambuilding and Ahaco, have been working with the digital communication and solving IT issues. I have been responsible for planning and implementing digital strategy and in relation to that been a craftsman in digital production e.g. graphics (sales material, web design, printing), video (presentation video, green screen), content for social media (twitter, facebook, vimeo). In addition, I have worked with project management, event management and sales.Inspired by the traditions of experimental theater and performance art, of pop fiction, of obscure sports, of board and video games, Invisible Playground create experiences that allow entry onto the invisible playgrounds of our everyday life. — I worked with the digital communication, office management and was also a part of the design proces in the development of urban games for various international cultural organizers (Roskilde Festival, Dockville, AUGENBLICK MAL!, Metropolis, Wunder der Prarie etc.). — One of my communication task was fx. to design and developed a responsive website for a audio game in Japan in relation to For Aichi Triennale 2013 (se image below). — In the game area, I became skilled in reading the qualities, challenges and affordances in the design space, so it could be used a powerful game mechanic and create value for the game experience. — I got experienced with concept development, design thinking, rapid game prototyping, location based design and playful storytelling.— Spatial & conceptual installations that draws on aesthetic & technology affordances. — Engagement through bodily stimulation that triggers reflection on cultural relevant themes. In collaboration with Timequest Live Escape Game, I have designed a prototype for a new pop-up escape game aiming to explore the potential of technological and minimalistic scenography and probes. — At Copenhagen Culture Night 2015, I invited 9 teams of 2-4 people to explore this temporary live escape game room by solving puzzles, riddles and interacting with the surroundings. — I researched, conceptualized, sketched, developed, build, programmed in processing and HTML/CSS/JQuery. — I created PR, made social media content graphics and at last created small video documentation. — At last I presented my insights from the project to the owner of Timeliest which implemented some of the original ideas that I discovered.— Responsible for updating website — User Experience Consulting — Logo design — Produced concept video. At LoveMyHome I had the responsibility for the digital communication to B2C and were the social media officer designing campaigns and creating content on a weekly basis on Facebook, Twitter and blog. I relation to this planned and executed different kind of competition and created video pitches, graphics and copy writing. At Bo Grønts headquarter, I was responsible for the maintenance and development of the website and intranet. In addition, I worked with the production of the monthly sales catalog, direct marketing through email and arranged all "in-store" marketing in the 22 stores (posters, price tags, banners, clothing, logo-articles).NJORD is Copenhagen's new biennial for new nordic music and visual art. I mostly worked on a large scale light installation that measured 10x5x2,5m and was build at The Danish Art Workshop. — I was a key player in solving design challenges & ensured that we stayed on the daily schedule — I was in responsible for budget, negotiating contracts, fundraising- and purchasing materials — Before and during the construction phase I produced different communication materials — I coordinated the work of 15 volunteer workers and made sure they felt appreciated — I filmed and produced a artistic documenting video of how the installation became alive. Based on my master specialization in digital aesthetics and practical experience with the art world, I was selected among a large group of applicants. The field digital aesthetics represents a broad range different digital products, services, installations and art pieces, which I became even more familiar with in both theoretical and practical term. I got experience with planing the course exercises and facilitating it as well, e.g. facilitated a 2 week workshop in Makey Makey. At both the bachelor and the master level I corrected papers and advised the students in their exam papers. I must admit that I really enjoyed being a TA since it was very satisfying to experience how the students grow based on our inputs. As the founder and creative mind of DesignRefleks, I work with strategic planing, webdesign, graphic design, storytelling, location scouting, sound narrative. While we were producing urban audio fairy tales we visited both wOOt 2013 and Børne Distortion 2014 (see documentation below). In collaboration til Danish Architecture Center I wrote my bachelor project, where I contributed with research in how cultural organisations can create unique cultural experience through location-based technologies. Through a critical case study of the location based app Cphx podwalks, I have explored what significance it has, that the narrative is told in the historical context in which the narrative is based on. Furthermore I identified which complications that are important to meet through interaction design. Finally I explored the potentials of interaction possibilities location- and sound based narratives of cultural experience that takes place in urban space. I conclude that the given the users physical presence in the urban space, they user becomes a part of the narrative which results in a authentic and immersive experience. In extension the cognitive imaging is enhanced by the combination of the affordance of the media, storytelling, the evocative sound design and the dynamic interaction possibilities. The emphasizing of historical buildings and physical objects creates a meaningful connection to the city, which results in nearness to the local community. Download it here: www.issuu.com/louisejensen/docs/bachelorprojekt_om_podwalks. Before studying at the It-university I was shortly a pension consultant in a call-center in order to create a good saving before going back to school.Helpr collaborate with the nordic insurance industry and together we make interacting with insurance companies digital, effective and most of all pleasant. I am responsible for: — Product development and user experience of a new app platform — Designing a new CMS with communication- and insight module — Happiness and recruitment of the new development branch in Lisbon. Charity Bakery is an online bakery, delivering delicious cakes directly to your door. When purchasing a cake, you choose a charity that will get receive a 20,- pr. cake you buy. — In this project I benefitted from my previous experience with business strategy, service design, digital communication, branding and front-end development. — I helped the founders of Charity Bakery turn their idea into reality by front end developing their first website. — I consulted the owner in business strategy and influence the user experience from when the customer first notice the brand through promotion activities, to interaction on the website and finally delivery of the delicious cakes.
