For nine years I successfully supervised the entire commercial division (Income Tax, Sales Tax, Central Excise and Customs), Imports and Exports. I left the company as Director Commercial. My another passion, education, lead me to BNSM College of Technical Education. We started from scratch, developed infrastructure and brought affiliation from Punjab Technical University, assembled a team of quality teachers, mobilized students for the first batch and managed the institute for nine years, full term of my contract. I joined Synetic Business School an autonomous, private institute with less than 30 students on roll. Again my challenge was to affiliate the institute, which I successfully did with two state universities, Punjab Technical University and Guru Nanak Dev University. As head of the marketing team I have successfully mobilized students not only from India but also from Uganda, Angola and Tanzania. My another responsibility was to generate funds from industrial consultancy and research. I liaisoned with Apex Cluster Development Services incorporated by World Bank, GTZ, kfw and took up projects on knitwear clusters in Ludhiana. I am now with Gulzar Group of Institutions. I am an enthusiastic teacher with an emphasis on creating an environment which fosters learning through a variety of facilitating activities and promoting the interest, knowledge, and abilities of students to excel in their studies. I am eager to continue my career with an organization that values education as a key to success On family front I have single handed built my own house and commercial properties to generate an independent source of income. My son is a Doctor and daughter is a Psychologist. I have worked on the principal of vision, values and vibrant practices. The administrative/academic jobs will be challenging and interesting which I would love to take up. I am sure my job history and experience will meet the vision, mission and goals of your institute.
