I have extensive experience in community & leadership development, public relations & management in a community capacity building for a large region (19 counties in Central California) in grant management, and experience in program & project management. Additional skills are: negotiation & conflict resolution, leadership, critical thinking, influencing, problem solving, analytical skills, and a demo to build consensus. Before joining the Great Valley Center I served as Director of Tourism for the City of Reedley where I oversaw the Historic Reedley Opera House. I also served as Vice President of the Central Valley Visitors Association for two years. I organized and am President/Past-President of a few new nonprofit organizations; The Kings River Arts Council with a gallery showcasing the work of local artists in Reedley located in Fresno County and The GLEE Foundation of California.
