Somatic therapy is body-based mental health care to help you heal and create a more joyful and sustainable life. I primarily use a Somatic Experiencing approach, and treatment may include talk therapy, bodywork, lymphatic drainage massage, and co-creating better routines and strategies for your daily life. As an occupational therapist, I'm particularly interested in how you're able to function in your day to day life - if you can't do the things you care about, I want to figure out what we can change to get you there. Lymphatic drainage massage is a gentle hands-on technique to help your body move fluids more effectively. It's helpful for relaxation, reducing inflammation, managing swelling, and helping with chronic pain or fatigue.
