Martin Barron’s Expertise A Production Manager at the National Theatre of Great Britain before relocating to California in 2016. ‘The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time’, ‘Motherfucker with the Hat’ and ‘The Light Princess’ are among many other shows and events production managed at the NT. Managed and oversaw the delivery of a four month festival on the South Bank in 2012 as a response to the London Olympics and the Queens Jubilee. The festival consisted of 500 performances that included circus, dance, theater and street performance. Designed and Constructed a durable pop-up restaurant and a learning center for the festival. Generating and implementing a five year technical master plan at the YBCA as well as safety initiatives across the organization. Managing events for companies such as Dreamforce/Salesforce, Medtronic, National Lawyers Guild, Mother Jones, Google, Harvard Business Review, Campari and many others. In addition to a multitude of corporate, commercial and non-profit events, also manages and delivers the production needs for various visiting performing arts companies such as Lines Ballet, Gregory Dawson, Capacitor, RAWDance and many more. A member of the senior leadership team at American Conservatory Theater and part of a strategic planning committee tasked with developing a long term plan to secure the health and success of the theater as it begins another chapter under new artistic and executive leadership. Perform as part of the producing team and oversee a large production and technical department in the producing of several new shows per season across multiple venues in San Francisco, and support the production needs of all shows, events and activities associated with A.C.T.’s Master of Fine Arts program, Young Conservatory, Education department and an ambitious rental program.
