I am currently Senior Desktop Support Technician at Ensono, and the senior point of contact for internal support in the UK and European business. As well as diagnosing and troubleshooting problems with a wide range of software and hardware as part of my deskside support role (including some server support), I am also responsible for planning, deploying and implementing new solutions which are introduced to our user base, which more recently has included the adoption of Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Workday and WebEx. Specialities include: • Experienced in supporting and troubleshooting Windows desktop operating systems, from Windows XP up to Windows 10, and Windows Server 2000 up to Server 2016 • Experience supporting Microsoft Office 2003 up to Office 2016 / Office 365 • Experienced using and supporting several communication tools, such as Microsoft Outlook, Teams and Skype for Business, Cisco WebEx and Zoom. • Experience with Microsoft System Centre (SCCM) for deploying Windows Updates, software deployment and managing our laptop fleet in the UK • Proficient with using Active Directory, including creating, modifying and decommissioning user accounts, and monitoring and maintaining user permissions • Working with hardware and software vendors to ensure we have the right products for our users • Confident, self-motivated, able to work alone or as an integral member of a team and able to work under pressure
