I have recently (July 2018) been appointed to an Advisory Board for a large children’s charity . In my policing role I developed force policy on all public protection areas and have dealt with a number of child death investigations and complex child abuse investigations I chaired the South East Wales Child protection group and Vulnerable Adult group, I was also chair of the Newport Domestic Forum and vice chair of two local safeguarding boards. Chair of the sudden unexplained death of infants information sharing multi agency group and conducted several Serious Case Reviews. I sit on the UK National Safeguarding Committee for safeguarding children in Sport. I have completed the Police Trainers course and obtained my PGCE through Newport University. I also sit on the British Equestrian Federation Case Management Group I am SC cleared and have a current DBS check. I currently Specialise in safeguarding investigations/training mainly in Sport and for Charities. I have now carried out a number of investigation’s of Safeguarding in Sport from grassroots level to Olympic, I am also able to bring a team of investigators together to ensure there is a timely and thorough independent investigation conducted.
