Matthew Fredericks’s Expertise My professional experience extends far beyond the specified industry that I'm currently in as my background stems from various markets and business sectors. Whilst all renewable and thermal energy focused, my passion lies within the mining sector, to which i have been loyally and successfully serving for almost 20 years. My forte is leading and managing new and or existing teams, into new territories, new markets, new technologies, and growing market share and company portfolios by diversifying their existing strategy and revenue streams. Being extremely competitive and Target driven; success with my teams have come through extensive background, knowledge, as well as key contacts built up over many years; not only in the energy sector, but more specifically in the mining sector. I believe not only in long term, sustainable relationships, but building these business relationships into key friendships. Diversification and growing companies existing client base, revenue streams and markets come via my strong leadership background and motivational abilities. Working closely with mining companies, and in the energy sectors, across the globe have allowed me the privilege to work with leaders and employees from extremely diverse backgrounds. Being an Ex professional rugby player, as well as a SA Champion body Builder and world top 3, is the reason i have the "Never-say-die" attitude and a win at all cost demeanor. The mining sector is fast changing, with their outlook to Energy solutions, how they pay for these solutions, what are more sustainable and efficient and cost effective solutions, also taking the environment into account will be of utmost value to these companies and their stakeholders. Hybridization using alternative energy sources are becoming the future.I have been mentored and advised by Executives of some of the worlds largest and most influential mining companies such as Anglo American, Goldfields, De Beers.
