Over the 6 months, the Ireland Pavilion welcomed 352,000 visitors, hosted over 80,000 guests at our world-class shows, featured in 700 media pieces and was joined online by millions of people around the world who tuned in as we proudly showcased Ireland as a great place to live, work, invest, trade with, study and visit. My main roles included working with local, national & international media ensuring epic coverage of Ireland in the UAE, Ireland and globally along with social media content & coverage. These tasks were hugely successful having reached over 5bn homes globally. Communicating all of what Ireland has to offer with a focus on creativity and culture was indispensable! Event and project management & coordination also a key role of mine, working with the team, The Irish Business Network Dubai, Tourism Ireland, Bord Bia, IDA, Enterprise Ireland, the Department of Foreign Affairs, in addition to the team at Riverdance, the team at the National Concert Hall aswell as many other Government Agencies and Cultural and Educational Institutions. Relationship management vital in making Ireland's presence at Expo 2020 Dubai such a success. Full time work is with the team at Government Information Services at Dept of the Taoiseach. With a detailed focus on Event Management for Government of Ireland events / launches / announcements, workshops etc. I have worked on many major events including the United Nations Security Council Campaign at the UN HQ in NYC in 2018, The Papal Visit, Government of Ireland presence at the National Ploughing Championships 2018 and 2019 - now focusing on the NPC22, Project Ireland 2040 announcement in Sligo, along with the roadshow of the Governments Capital programme. I worked closely on the roll out of the Government of Ireland identity along with the 16 new department identities in 2017/2018 Formerly Unit Coordinator of the Strategic Communications Unit in the Department of the Taoiseach 2017. Experienced Programme Coordinator with a demonstrated history of working in Government administration as part of the Ireland 2016 Centenary Team and with the Creative Ireland Cross Government initiative. Strong community and local authority professional through coordination of many projects, events.
