It was my ability to stay focused, my powerful determination, as well as great organization that made it possible for me to attend two colleges, maintain a 3.2 or higher grade point average (GPA), and work a full-time job; tasks not all students can achieve because many have issues dealing with one let alone all three. For my situation, obtaining a job was a requirement to continue school to have money for books and the cost of living in Arizona, but it was my resourcefulness that enabled me to attend a major university as well as attending a community college in order for me to achieve my goal of graduating in three years. I majored in Psychology with a minor in Women and Gender Studies. After taking an abnormal psychology course I became interested with counseling, more specifically helping people deal with their underlying emotional and psychological issues.
