While I enjoyed my role, there were some things that I truly missed and wouldn’t get from that position, especially being part of the hands on patient experience, helping patients progress towards their discharge goals, and seeing them achieve their personal goals that I ask them to keep in mind throughout therapy, it was then that I decided I was not yet ready to walk away from the skilled nursing therapy world and transitioned back to a clinical role as a staff PTA.
