After realizing that Finance was not a passion of mine, I started my career at Verizon, where I wore many hats; customer service representative, sales associate, sales manager, marketing consultant, and ultimately a UX requirements writer/QA tester that transformed into a product design role designing Verizon branded experiences for wearables, smart homes and our telecom services. From there, I decided to give myself a small break, and followed my curiosity to become a UX instructor where I taught and mentored a diverse group of students looking to make a career change in their lives, while in parallel, built a curriculum focused on collaboration, design ethics, accessibility and visual design. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our dog Lincoln, and getting to the water as much as I can whether that be swimming or paddle boarding.
