  As a Murray County native once I finished college and began my career I decided to come back to small town America and raise my family in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains. I started working my junior year of high school for Dr. Greg Baker at Lifetouch Chiropractic in 1995. It was a fantastic experience, Dr. Baker and his wife Carol really helped lay the foundation for my professional career. I learned so much about healthcare and working with the general public. I traveled the country attending seminars and trainings... I completed the requirements and became an X-Ray technician. I then decided I wanted to switch gears and finish up my degrees in Education, Psychology, and Social Work. I started my career in Social Services with Highland Rivers Adult Day Treatment Program, later becoming a Local Utilization Review Officer. I then went on to work at Department of Family and Children Services in a number of surrounding counties holding titles of; Case Manager, Family Team Meeting Facilitator, and Supervisor, Profamiy Associates LLC as Family Specialist, Lookout Mountain Community Services as a Supervisor for five counties and in 2006 started my own non-profit organization serving the low-income at-risk population in the Murray Community. I have worked for Engineered Floors LLC since 2011 and have went from Human Resources to working in Product Development. I love our company and have enjoyed the switch from Social Services to Corporate America, the fast-paced innovative environment is at times challenging and definitely keeps me busy! Through all of this however I haven't lost the desire to help others and am still involved in a number of efforts within the North Georgia community to make it a better place for its citizens.
