Michael Creencia’s Expertise In July 2019, I was moved to this team to assume the demanding and challenging role of APAC Audit Clearinghouse Lead for Global IS (Information Security) Team. The role is to improve the ability of IS by supporting client security assessment activities and provide concise and valuable information security answers to the security related queries. Key function is to simplify the experience for Accenture business teams. Provided audit management expertise and guidance to almost one hundred Accenture Account Teams in client audit engagements, due diligence activities and security related queries like cyber security, ransomware, data privacy and Accenture enterprise level security implementations. The support I provided does not end from assisting the Account Teams but extended up to the closure of audit performance through obtaining client-issued audit report, or audit closure notes at the very least. These reports are referred to by the IS Clearinghouse Lead and Client Response Lead during periodic reporting to Global IS leadership. During my association with the CDPOS Operations Tower, I ensure that solutions offered to the potential clients of Accenture while on sales phase is reviewed. This kind of review was done through assisting the Deal Team, Sales Architects and Directors with their sales opportunities by ensuring that the client data protection controls as well as the security controls were considered and factored in the proposals. On another hat, I learned software development work for I was one of the key individuals trusted to develop, improve and maintain the ticketing system (Archer / eGRC) used by the entire Support Team when fulfilling requests. I was able to successfully maintain CDPOS application. Given the positive outcome and good feedback on the tool development and due to the gained experience and dedication to effectively develop, manage and maintain Archer/eGRC, the Client Data Protection Management trusted me once again for another project where I designed the functional specifications, layout the request form and task form, and do Business Analyst work to deliver another ticketing tool (servicenow) in replacement to eGRC. This tool is still being used by the team. In my previous project, I supported the Infrastructure Services in Accenture (ISA) Team by producing documented policies, procedures and standards as support to the subscribed certifications such as Information Security Management System (ISMS) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
