Unfortunately, I have seen first hand what happens when financial plans are not in place when they are needed most. I lost my father when I was 8yrs old and my whole life was turned upside-down. My mother was forced back into the workforce with two young children and a lifetime of bills ahead of her. My mother had to make a hard decision of uprooting her kids and moving across country, just to be closer to her family, in hopes of giving her kids a better life. She worked multiple jobs but it still seemed we had to move every year do to financial burdens.I wish I was old enough back then to tell my parents how important this was. I wish I could turn back the hands of time and make my moms life that much easier but I can't. So, I made a commitment to myself. I will find those people like my mother before tragedy strikes and inform them of their options. When tragedy strikes I want them to be as prepared as possible. I want to be the guy that took time to make sure their family was protected! I want to be the guy that's remembered by their family for generations to come!
