Responsible for expanding the campus MWBE program via community outreach, partnering and targeted procurement. Work closely with the NYS Offices of the Attorney General and Comptroller on approval of contracts and other procurement matters. Responsible for outreach and training the campus community on purchasing regulations, policy and process. • Expand and increase MWBE utilization. Campus now consistently achieves the NYS goal of 30% utilization. Member of SUNY MWBE Advisory Committee. • Expand training outreach to the campus regarding services offered by the Procurement Dept. with focus on improving the planning for key sourcing initiatives. • Project lead on a 2020 President’s Strategic Budget Initiative subcommittee tasked with the development of a single Enterprise Contract Database for tracking University and Hospital contracts. • Consistently achieved over 3M in annual negotiated savings. • Developed/implemented a standardized solicitation and contract review proces Stony Brook University
