  I am a networking generalist at heart, with a passion for automating network operations and implementation. In my current role I develop network automation for Network to Code's customers. During my time at Fidelity, I initiated and implemented a suite of provisioning automation which tranformed their load balancing changes from all-manual to 90%+ self-service automated, using Ansible, Red Hat Tower, and ServiceNow. Previously, I spearheaded the deployment of the company's first SDN application (Cisco Nexus Packet Broker for an Openflow-based monitoring network), and in 2016 deployed AVI Networks' software load balancer into a new Openstack private cloud environment. I also deployed DDoS mitigation services for the Internet edge, refreshed a F5 load balancer environment, deployed a DWDM-based optical WAN with Cisco NCS, converted the network from sparse-dense to sparse-only PIM, deployed BGP on our Internet and Extranet edges to enhance high availability, built the networks for 3 new international trading floors, and collaborated on initiatives to deploy Nexus 9000 switches in a next-generation datacenter design. In previous roles I designed WLANs, deployed RBAC infrastructure, designed and deployed a channelized OC48 ring for the EPA headquarters, and worked with firewalls from Cisco, Juniper and Check Point.
