  For more than 15 years, I have been steadily building my knowledge and experience in both Industrial and System Engineering from within the Aerospace and Defence Industry. From an established technical foundation, I have since continually been expanding my skills and capabilities to include Industry 4.0 technologies and methodologies to create and implement various strategic roadmaps towards improvement and optimisation. My Engineering experience started with various improvement projects, which included business process optimisation, facility planning and layout design for manufacturing. During this time, I also had the opportunity to negotiate, plan and contract with international stakeholders within an Engineering Business development role. I then moved to an environment where I was part of the establishment of a Learning Factory, jointly created Industry 4.0 assessments, creating technology roadmaps for companies in various industries and also implemented the applicable technologies for various companies. Currently, I am in the role of Subject Matter Expert where I advise on production readiness and Industrialization and run several Operational Excellence projects. The scope of these projects include: optimisation of manufacturing facilities, implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies and liaising with different entities in the group to also support their improvement roadmaps. I have found that my strength lies in my ability to identify interactions, interfaces, connections and potential between seemingly unrelated projects, technologies and resources, and bringing these together for mutually beneficial outcomes. I constantly strive to expand my knowledge and experience and appreciate opportunities to take on new challenges in both a strategic and hands-on capacity while making a positive contribution towards the success of the company.
