Daily responsibilities included directly supporting the Commanding General and his senior advisors and executives in addition to providing general HR support to the more than 18,000 soldiers assigned to the Division. To provide a superior level of support, I frequently coordinated with HR reps and occasionally senior executives from subordinate, adjacent, and higher organization headquarters'. I successfully managed and oversaw the implementation of a new Division wide electronic approval and routing system to increase award and decoration processing transparency and efficiency.I served as the principal advisor for all matters HR and administrative assistant to the Chief Executive Officer of an elite Airborne Infantry organization comprised of 750 soldiers able to deploy anywhere in the world within 18 hours of notification in support of national defense objectives. Oversaw personnel accountability and strength management, awards, work/leave policies, performance evaluations, advancements, military pay, personnel records management, and overall unit readiness. I planned and executed HR operations for both Operation Jade Helm 16, a trans-Continental airborne insertion operation in support of Special Operation Forces and Operation Ultimate Reach, a trans-Atlantic airborne insertion operation - the culminating event of the largest NATO operation in over 10 years.I served as the principal advisor for all matters HR to the Chief Executive Officer of an Infantry organization comprised of over 520 soldiers deployed in southern Afghanistan dispersed throughout three different Forward Operating Bases. Directly supervised and managed three Soldiers charged with providing general HR support to include processing of performance evaluations, end of tour service awards, casualty operations, and postal operations for over 1,000 personnel assigned to the Base.
