My prior experience as an Electrician, and as an Engineering Technician, greatly contributed to my strong grasp in Electrical Engineering by giving me a solid background. I am a natural leader and like to work in a fast paced environment and can work efficiently with a broad range of people. I designed and built a hexapod robot, in a team of three people, for a senior design project at St. Cloud State University. The project was building a semi-autonomous hexapod robot with built in GPS and Bluetooth so it could navigate back to its original starting point autonomously. The robot was also able to be controlled from our designed and developed smartphone app. This project has given me excellent knowledge in pulse width modulation, servos, GPS, Bluetooth, PCB design, F.P.G.A. (Zedboard), power distribution, walking algorithm, Smartphone control app. design, MATLAB, Altium designer, and troubleshooting.
