I built the business strategy for Kaiterra in India, helped set up the company and build a team here. I've been working on building a strategic network of sales partners as well as partnerships for our outdoor air quality monitoring projects through which we hope we can have an impact on the quality of the air that we breath. In the past I’ve worked with startups, I've worked in various corporate and social sectors, I like variety. I'm always up for a new challenge. The beauty of my work is in the method rather than the sector, it's a style of working, a way of problem-solving that is grounded in user- or context-research and built on with user-experience design. I apply my methodology to almost everything that I work on - beit a script for a 10 minute talk, a multi-layered timeline, an interface of a product, complex financial data, business models, or even a strategy note- and represent content/data in a form that's clear yet beautiful. I get a kick out working on the user interface between systems, processes, services - layering and simplifying in a manner that enhances clarity, understanding and hence experience. Trained as an architect, I soon found a sustained interest in ethnographic research and design. I've spent some time working with public art, painting on silk, making furniture and even building training modules for a program that I co-founded and ran for three years. I worry about the quality of our air, our over-use of plastic and try to do my part in reducing my contribution to such pollution. While I'm not working I experiment with origami, play the piano, lift weights, play football, tennis and trek.
