  I recently graduated from USU with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering. I am looking to go to work at a place where I can help solve problems. I always look at problems as if they were puzzles, that you just need a certain number of twists and turns in order to make it look like you want it too. I worked at a steel fabrication shop during and before I went to school, there with a small crew and no engineers or maintenance men I honed my problem solving skills. One task that stands out during my time there was fixing/redesigning a shake table. The vibration always tore away the supports. While rewelding the table I added a bracer bar and resting bolt though the table which the table would rest on the bracer bar, I'm proud to say it didn't need maintenance again. I'd also helped and solved process problems. Changed a inefficient double handling fabrication method to lean methods using existing equipment. I had also solved a problem that was a plague and thought of to have no solution. I now work as a automation tech at autoliv there I have worked on both their Inspect team and Gas fill team. I see mechanical issues such as damaged tooling, slides, cylinders, valves, shafts, presses not aligned. Electrical issues, such as damaged sensors, adjusting amplifiers, fuses, controllers. Robotics: reteaching Yamaha scara robots, Mottoman and Fancu robots. Cameras programs and PLC logic. I've worked with pneumatic and hydraulic devices, leak checks and electrical check machines. I have seen many problems and different types of machines. I've used this as catalog of sorts to gain and understand how things work. I am very broad and have useful knowledge.
