  I began my management career unintentionally in January of 1997 when I took a position as receptionist for Dr. William Hayes who had a small family practice clinic in Cape Coral, FL. I knew next to nothing about medicine but I was a quick study, good at interacting with people and problem solving. I became adept at the daily operations of the practice and became proficient in all positions within the clinic. As the practice grew, so did I in experience and position. At the turn of the century, the practice and I embraced automated billing/coding and scheduling and began the process of transitioning to an EHR. Learning the critical aspects of an EHR as technology emerged provided invaluable insight in to the interaction required for successful utilization. In the fall of 2011 Dr. Hayes merged with Millennium Physicians Group and in the summer of 2013 I was advanced to Practice Manager over five Family Practice clinics and by the winter of 2014 I became the sole Practice Manager for all of Lee County in the Millennium Physician Group managing ten individual practices. Today I am the Operations Manager for the Centralized Referral Unit. It is my pleasure to lead and develop my staff while maintaining the highest standards of productivity and profitability. While I am no longer managing the multiple practices within Lee County I have the distinct pleasure of assist all practices within Millennium Physician Group as we grow and continue to forge a path of excellence in Healthcare.
