Since I left the firm in 2015, I have been working on a number of interesting matters and have managed to find a way to sustain life in San Francisco while exploring various side projects and educating myself. I've been working with IBM Watson since February of 2016 as a legal subject matter expert, and I have begun studying more about machine learning in order to be more valuable to the Watson team. In the meantime, I've drafted legal documents for startups, worked for an autonomous vehicle company, worked for a human-based ride-share service, helped form partnerships and developed business opportunities for young companies, invested in a startup, developed a media outreach program for a startup, begun the study of CS and machine learning, and expanded my skills in my "non-work" life. I hope to continue developing various skills, while keeping my legal expertise fresh, and while maintaining relationships and various hobbies. My dream job involves using my people skills, creative thinking, and legally-trained mindset to help build businesses that I care about. Motive
