Patrick Manansala’s Expertise Teaching is my absolute passion. As an immigrant and a product of the American public school system, I can attest to the benefits of having an education and furthering my opportunities by receiving a college degree. The teachers I've had in the past (and present) were the ones who inspired and motivate me to pursue a better future- when my family could not and was not enough. That inspiration is something that I want to give back to future Americans and citizens. Also, working for others and seeing how a person could develop to their full potential is one of the rewards that I've enjoyed in my experience teaching. Music is my second passion. Music is embedded in our society, culture, and history. It is one of the phenomena humans can fully embody. Music, in our human experience, exists as a way to communicate, express, and appreciate sound non-verbally. Music also serves as a medium for many integration of other disciplines- whether that is Science, Literature, History, Math, Social Studies, etc. I recently graduated from Winona State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education K-12- Instrumental and Classroom Music Emphasis. My main instrument and field of expertise is the Violin/Viola and the String Orchestra family. I am also a licensed Minnesota Educator.
