All totaled, Paul has provided more than two decades of service to the people and businesses in his community. In addition to town responsibilities, Paul, has also served in a leadership capacity for many organizations, from Chambers of Commerce to The Heart Walk, and through membership has supported great causes from Rotary to Little League. Paul has been the Past Chair of the Southeastern Connecticut Council of Governments (SCCOG) and a board member of CCM- Ct Conference of Municipalities- At SCCOG, he chaired the regional rail committee that actively engaged in the successful TIGER Grant process, and served on the regional water committee that resulted in a tri-town interconnection to conserve/share water. Residing in East Lyme, Paul is a widower and the father of four adult children — three daughters and one son. Two daughters currently work side-by-side in the Family Restaurant.
