Paula Ogutu’s Expertise I am a highly motivated and enterprising performance manager. I have 10 years of experience working in a variety of performance intelligence units with Acute Trusts, Local Authority and Public Health, as well as in one of the largest NHS CCG support units (NELCSU). The Performance manager role acts as a critical friend to operational colleagues, finding and illustrating intelligent metrics to highlight areas that can be changed to enhance performance by optimising patient pathways and ultimately making a difference to the quality of patient care. I have achieved this specifically by • Promoting and communicating the use of key metrics, supporting data quality audits and validation reporting by key staff across the Trust. • Contributing towards a consistent RTT performance management and accountability framework within the Trust ensuring PTL meetings are supported with appropriate governance and representation. • Monitor delivery of performance action plans for divisions, including supporting the development and monitoring of recovery action plans where there is non-compliance. • Leading on the enhancement of Demand and Capacity expertise in the Trust, using a ‘Train the Trainer’ approach, coordinating with other staff members as required and working closely with operational teams. • Leading on the development of specialty level plans and SOPs relating to RTT. • Co-ordinating transfer of RTT validation expertise from the validation team as part of the development of an operationally led RTT management approach. • Leading on the co-ordination of discrete data validation projects in conjunction with Health Analytics, Data Quality and Booking teams (including external suppliers) to deliver statutory and key Trust targets.
