I have experience in conducting visiting lectures in Wayaba, University Sri Lanka. I have supervised several graduate and undergraduate students in their research programs. My other experience related include coordinating fishery management and capacity building and awareness programs to fishery community addressing different needs and issues as a research officer. I have also conducted several fish handling and product development activities in projects as team member and principle investigator in collaboration with various International funding agencies (UNDP) and local Government Agencies. I have twenty eight years of experience in budgeting, designing and monitoring of projects interventions, project database management, data analyzing report writing / documentation and coordinating, linking and leading collaborations with various like-minded organizations and other stakeholders in the areas of development of value added products in area of fish Post Harvest Technology. The research findings of mine led to several national and International research publications in journals and extended abstracts in conference proceedings and technical papers. I have got merit award for publications in 2012. In additions to that I have been already awarded one patent and another two patents are pending.
