Qiming Zhang’s Expertise My career in the power system industry started in 2008. My skill set encompasses Small-signal, RMS, and EMT-type analyses, using tools like PSS/E, Mudpack, SSAT, Matlab/Simulink, PSCAD, and ETRAN. Throughout my career, I have played a key role in developing, maintaining, and supporting production-grade software packages such as Mudpack, PSSE2Mudpack, AUPSSEFRTOOL, AULimit, and numerous automation scripts to streamline various power system studies across different platforms. My deep knowledge of modelling, programming (Fortran, Matlab, Python, Perl, etc.), and diagnosing model and network errors has equipped me to tune and evaluate a wide range of controllers within the Australian power system. I also leverage this expertise to support my peers, providing continuous assistance and training to other engineers. By sharing my insights and offering hands-on guidance, I contribute to the collective skill development within my team and the broader engineering community. Motivated by a strong drive for self-improvement, I am dedicated to continuous learning and development to achieve success and make a significant impact in the power system industry.
