Rachad also held the position of Dubai City Executive, as part of the global Big Urban City (BUC) program, where he was responsible for shaping Arcadis’ strategy and business offering at a local level by bringing the very best of Arcadis’ local and global expertise to clients in the city. One of the key driving principles that influences Rachad’s work ethic is utilizing his skillset to add value on projects for the benefit of communities; this belief system can be seen in key projects he’s actively contributed to, including the Dubai Waterfront & Palm Jebel Ali Transport Plans for Nakheel, Masdar City Masterplan, Qatar Cultural Sport Hub for OMA/Ashghal, Riyadh City South Development for Aldar, the Mina Zayed Fish Market for MODON, La Mer Development for Meraas/Dubai Holding and Dubai South Development for Emaar, to name a few.
