I have been in my current role as the Vice President, Global Customer Service (CS) at Spotify since Sep 2019. My areas of focus are to raise the bar on the overall CS experience, set up the team to be successful in the next phase of Spotify's growth as a two-sided marketplace and leverage analytics & technology to drive customer advocacy at scale across the company. Between Sep 2017-2019, I was the Vice President of Global Reservations and Customer Care at Hilton, with both revenue and customer experience responsibilities. Before Hilton, I spent nearly 8 years at Amazon in executive leadership roles – 7 years in the Worldwide Customer Service Organization and about a year with the Alexa Data Services team. In my roles with Amazon Customer Service my primary responsibilities were leading & scaling operations in India, South Africa and Costa Rica (>8000 associates), Customer Service experience design and support for new country launches in India (amazon.in) and Mexico (amazon.com/mx) and Customer Experience improvement as measured by reduced contact rates/defect reduction & improved efficiencies. At Alexa Data Services, I led the Global Operations team responsible for manual data curation for Alexa’s machine learning models. Prior to Amazon, I spent nearly nine years at GE across multiple functions in roles of increasing responsibility. I am also a graduate of GE Corporate Audit Staff (CAS), GE’s premier leadership development program. I thrive when I am working on solving problems at scale in areas that I am passionate about & I am passionate about things that matter to customers and make their lives easier/better. I am also passionate about building not just high performing, but highly engaged teams and have done so in all my roles across the last two decades of my experience.
