Mr. Dorsey is also the Founder of the Bessie Coleman Aviation Club for Girls in Atlanta, Georgia. Implemented Signatures in Space in collaboration with Lockheed Martin and the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite. In 2012, these camps were expanded to include children with motor impairments and children with Autism (moderate-to-mild). These collaborative efforts have resulted in the implementation and design of "AutiSTEM", a Virtual Reality programmable interface to assist and enhance interactions between students with ASD and the real world. AutiSTEM was a selected program for the 2012 MIT Scratch forum as well as a Google RISE 2014 awardee. Mr. Dorsey has served as a NASA Solar System Ambassador since 2007 and has several international publications on the effectiveness of STEM resources in underrepresented populations and students with disabilities.
