Using an evidence-based approach grounded in research and lived experience, I help executives be the best version of themselves they can be—at work and in life. I coach leaders to increase self-awareness, influence, focus and wellbeing by playing big and stepping into their greatness. I create programs that empower women to shine. Working with hundreds of leaders globally has taught me they yearn for the person they want to be, rather than hiding behind a corporate facade. They get lost in the stress and pressure of being at the top. High functioning anxiety drives many to chase the next role, more impact, more money. I can help. I was once that scenario’s poster child. Short version: I spun psychology honours, curiosity and an ability to deeply connect into a 16-year career in people and culture, a lot of it in the UK where I built leadership capability in various sectors including engineering. At global business BOC I earned my first Head Of role at 32. My work was implemented globally. I was headhunted constantly. Often I was the only woman and only person under 40 at the table. I wish I had a signed Simon Sinek poster for every time I was asked how I got to where I was so fast. Well. Being creative, innovative and educated for starters. And shucking off comfort zones. Inspired by Wayne Dyer’s ‘fake it ‘til you make it’ maxim, I backed myself to take roles that excited and terrified me. I used my inherent desire to grow and learn as a springboard to my first executive role at 36. I even saw breast cancer as a learning experience. Then in 2020, on sabbatical, I realised corporate life was so consuming I could never put into practice my fascination with how to build leaders. Thriving People Consulting was born. I love the meaning and tangible results of what I do. I also love yoga, new cities and indoor plants. And good affirmations. Old habits die hard. Thriving People Consulting
