As a Product Owner I’m really lucky to be able to represent a diverse perspective and bring our customer’s voice to the table. I work with our Digital and Personal Investment Squad’s to evolve our superannuation online offerings and communication avenues. We all know that Super isn’t the most exciting subject matter, but it’s one that I’m weirdly passionate about, I love to disrupt and challenge the industry thinkings #5Whys I’ve grown up in an environment where it’s not essential to own a property, but as my parents age, it worries me that they don’t have that nest egg to back them up. That’s why I’m passionate about Super and engaging our customers so they get the most out of theirs, before it’s too late. Being part of the Digital era means that I get to have a really cool job, and try to make a difference in the lives of friends, family and community. I believe that making Super easy, empowers us to make the right decision at the right time, by providing education in seamless customer journeys. Harnessing my human-centered design skills and marrying those with the likes of Scrum and Lean mean that I always have the customer experience at the forefront of mind, yet simultaneously working out the most effective way to deliver the best outcome for everyone involved. We can deliver better, faster, and easier. Outside of my day-job you might see me at a queer event! I love curating and attending events that raise awareness and create safe spaces for us to talk openly about the challenges experienced by the LGBTQIA+ community.
