I have completed 2020 SOLIDWORKS Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Training at home followed by 19 months of work experience using the software within injection molding industry. I self-funded all the training and hardware due to my desire to further my career within design. I started my professional career within design using 3D solid modelers Pro-E & Ideas SDRC, and I was designing at my most recent employer using Solidworks. I have 13 years of product design experience using 3D solid modelers while working with manufacturing and the customer. The US patent listed on my resume is an example of me working with both. I have designed both high profile and very complex products. I have completed many advanced 3D solid modeling CAD training classes. 3D solid modeling comes to me very easily. My years of experience and the variety of 3D solid modelers used will allow me to learn other modeling software if needed. I have designed blow molded, injection molded, compression molded, and metal stamped products. I have also designed injection mold tooling, EOA tooling, sheet metal components, and 3D printable components. The CAD software is just a tool. What I bring is experience, knowledge, and creativity. My many years of manufacturing experience and working with tooling suppliers adds even more value in creating designs that are feasible for manufacturing. I am confident that I can learn new design standards and concepts of products I have not been exposed to and strengthen those I can improve on. I am a well-rounded highly adaptable engineer with many experiences in both design and manufacturing. I have worked for both small and large companies. My whole career has been stepping into the unknown and being successful. I have had an array of experiences that I worked very hard to achieve. I enjoy using 3D solid modeling CAD software to design products. I enjoy the creative side of it and working with both the customer and manufacturing to make the best product possible for both. I want to focus on designing products with 3D solid modeling CAD software because I really enjoy.
