Presently, Richard is an investor and Principal at MenloGreen LLC, a venture capital firm focusing on alternative energy, environmental impact and socially conscious endeavors both “for profit” and “for benefit” organizations. He also continues to evaluate and pursue semantic Web proposals for the firm. Richard employs the techniques of Long Range Forecasting documented by Jon Armstrong and Idealized Design developed by Russell A. Ackoff, in evaluating and suggesting alterations in technical and organizational proposals. He is particularly interested in marketing and technical business modeling for startup and mezzanine level enterprises in order to provide strong returns for all participants.
