I have written code off and on throughout my life for school, work and fun, starting with writing some games in BASIC when I was about 10, learning some C++ as a teenager, going to Southern Utah University for Electronics Engineering Technology where I learned how to program microprocessors, and then returning to school after a few years hiatus to get a second bachelors in Computer Engineering. I know that I still have a massive amount of things to learn before I could consider myself a good developer but when I have a project, I am persistent, I learn quickly and I truly enjoy the process and the payoff. Career and Academic Highlights: I have completed academic projects in Embedded C, RISC assembly programming, C++, Java, and C#. I have a passion for solving problems in code and have a high GPA in coding classes at the Universities I've attended. I have about 5 years professional experience in MS-SQL including projects implementing queries in SSRS, PERL and UIPath RPA. I have also written multiple queries for Micron's Database Query API project where queried data is made available via a REST API. As a Probe Tech, I was excited when I was given the opportunity to learn UIPath and I ran with it. I was a key contributor to multiple projects in which I used a combination of UIPath workflows and C# code to accomplish important objectives. In 2021 I was hired as an IT Software Engineer, where I am responsible for working with a team to maintain Micron software systems (including modern and legacy code), monitor software metrics, assist with deployment of new software as well as develop software solutions to help the team maintain systems more efficiently and effectively.
