Rob Vivian’s Expertise Central Carolina Wildlife Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and return of native North Carolina wildlife to its' natural habitat. When you have skunks and sulcata tortoises as pets, people think you know everything about animals; not! What started as an attempt to rescue one little female squirrel, Racquel, became a passion that has allowed me to help save over 500 animals since 2004. I progressed from volunteering with Keeper of the Wild in Charleston, SC to being the on-site caretaker of their 100 acre facility. When I moved to NC in 2005, CCWR was started and we have operated in one capacity or another ever since. I spent the last couple of years in Florida, doing a "real" job.
