Engaging more than 3,800 personnel at its peak, TF Hope is the largest disaster response and recovery operations in the history of the Army Corps of Engineers in terms of scope and funding: Removed 220 million gallons of water from New Orleans in 47 days; Restored 220 miles of levees and flood walls; removed 53 million cubic yards of debris; installed 131, 210 temporary roofs and 428 generators; constructed over 1000 structures and delivered 2833 truckloads of ice and 2517 truckloads of water. TF Hope is now focused on constructing a 14.6 comprehensive hurricane and risk reduction system in south Louisiana.
