Robert Evans’s Expertise I am presently very interested in solutions to our climate problems and how technology can play a role in a sustainable future. I am experienced in all technical aspects of software research and development. I have led and contributed to many teams, shipping several commercial products using traditional and agile methodologies. More recently (prior two positions) I was focusing on my technical passion, software development tools, program analysis, and research in software correctness and automated test generation. I have also done a little work in genetic programming, statistical learning, and information retrieval and am currently interested in how the new deep learning models will augment software development. I also enjoy presenting at industry and academic conferences and sharing knowledge with others. My professional goal is to create tools and applications that amplify human intelligence and improve users' quality of life. To that end, my recent, and expanding, focus is on applications of technology to health and wellness – think Quantified Self and social science research tools.
