When managing people, I adapt my approach based on the skillset of my staff. Having worked with both people new to sales or the product line as well as seasoned sales executives, I feel it is important to assess their needs (and get their agreement on them) and then deliver the training/coaching in a way that is effective for them. My goal is to have each individual be successful. Whether a manager or a sales executive, I enjoy working with customers, from the C-Suite executive to the end-user. My approach is to consult with them, listen to their problems and concerns, as well as demonstrate that I understand their pain points by providing solutions that address them. This includes looking for opportunities to identify problems, provide solutions, and leverage partnerships in order to align the goals of both my company and my client. ✔ Cross-functional Collaboration: By working with the operations, technical, and administrative arms of the company I am able to architect and deliver solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations. ✔ Negotiation Skills: Whether it is a customer, a senior leader, or an internal staff member, I am able to work with them and arrive at solutions that are mutually beneficial and meet the needs of the organization.
