I have 32 years of experience at General Motors spanning from hiring in as a Stationary Engineer Apprentice in 1990 to an 8th level manager in Energy and Utility Services across GM’s North America Powertrain Platform. My GM journey started in Indiana, then to Ohio, ending up in my current residence in Michigan and it has afforded me the opportunity to work on all automotive platforms (Stamping, Powertrain, Assembly), engineering and technical support, as well as office facilities management. Co-workers come to me often with difficult problems. I’m a very approachable person whose willing to help and will find a resolution no matter who the owner is. Lastly, I must add I’m a very dedicated person. I’ve worked at GM for 32 years and have been married once to my lovely wife for over 30 years raising 3 wonderful children who are now living on their own. In case you are wondering why I’m retiring from GM- it’s just time for something new in my life and my wife and I want to move back to Indiana to care for our elderly aging parents. In summary, It’s very hard to find employees with my experience. A BS in MET and a MBA, the most rounded GM experience on all manufacturing platforms, and a team player to take my employer to the next level no matter the challenge.
