Roberto ’s Expertise Why did I choose an engineer as my career? The reason I recall is the challenge of finding solutions, executing them, and seeing them work. After 20 years in the oil and gas industry, each challenge I have taken had prepared me for the next one, from ending my career, going through fieldwork, and then planning it, to manage ever-growing teams of very talented people. In the last 5 years, I have planned the turnarounds of the refinery with 5MM annual investments, and also managing maintenance KPIs, and budget (Opex 10MM ). In my spare time lately, I have put all my efforts into training for my first marathon, learning to cook with my wife, and watching lots of GOT.
