In this role I consulted with Interventional and Clinical Cardiologist on the use of an IV injectiable product in coronary and peripheral stent implantation. I was directly responsible for maximizing hospital utilization and education in the Cardiac Cath Lab, Emergency Department, Cardiac Step-down Unit and Intensive Care Units. Secondary responsibilities for this position included direct institutional sales and formulary inclusion of Avelox IV/PO, a broad spectrum antibiotic, to major hospital accounts within my assigned geography. I consulted with Infectious Disease, Pulmonology, Surgery, Emergency Department, and Critical Care Unit physicians, as well as, pharmacy & micro-biology departments.
